Macfie, Robert Andrew Scott (1868 -1935)

Robert Andrew Scott Macfie was born 10 April 1868, the eldest son of John William Macfie, of Dreghorn and Colinton in Midlothian and Rowston Hall, Cheshire, and Helen, daughter of Lieutenant-General Wahab of the Queen’s Indian Service. He was educated at Oundle and Caius College, Cambridge, where he took his M.A. in 1896, and Edinburgh University, where he took a B.Sc. He died unmarried 9 June 1935.
