Exeter College Oxford N/A
Exeter College was founded in 1314 by Walter de Stapledon for men from the West Country and Channel Islands. The foundation was enlarged by Sir William Petre under a charter granted by Queen Elizabeth in 1565. Petre’s arms are often impaled with those of Stapledon.
